Do we need to provide our own liquor license?

Yes, you will need to provide your own liquor license.
Do we have to hire a professional bartending service?

Yes, you may choose from our list of Preferred Vendors or we can provide one for you.

Do we have to hire a caterer?
​
Yes! We have a list of caterers whom we have worked with and can recommend on our Preferred Vendors list. You are welcome to bring in the caterer or food truck of your choice. Please note that we do not have a kitchen so your caterer must be self-contained.

What is included with my venue rental?

If you have questions or require additional clarity on the services provided with your package selection, we are always more than happy to help answer any questions you have.

Are there any hidden fees?
​
No. This means we don't charge a corking fee, a cake-cutting fee, or any other surprise costs. We do have certain items available for rent. If you already have access to those items through a different source, you are welcome to supply them yourself.

Can guests leave their cars overnight?
​
Absolutely! If your guests enjoy themselves so much they are unable to drive at the end of the night, we encourage them to leave their vehicles and arrive home safely. We take down their information to ensure we can track each vehicle, and they can retrieve their vehicles the following day between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.

How long will a venue tour take?

A wedding venue tour typically takes 45 minutes.

How can I secure the date I am interested in once we have decided this is the venue we would like?
​
Once you know that Hitchin' Post is your wedding venue, we require a $1,000.00 deposit to secure your spot. Following the deposit, your date is secured for you.
